Imported by the Corr Family from Ireland in 1998 as a two year old, he was bred by Kenneth and Fulton Buchanan at Coole Stud Farm in Donegal on the west coast of Ireland.

His arrival in Australia heralded a new era at Cushavon Park after the untimely death of Clintvara also an Irish Draught stallion.

King was started under saddle as a three year old. He competed lightly in eventing as a four year old, moved on to do some showjumping in recent years but is now back eventing again and loving it!

He has also competed successfully in Elementry dressage.

He stands 16.3hh, grey, fantastic temperament and an amazing effortless jumping style. He has a powerful exteneded trot and a balanced canter all of which he passes onto his progeny.
